Troubleshooting

 

Chair is leaking air, my chair is making a hissing noise or airbags are not inflating.

Please make sure that all hoses are securely and correctly connected to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

Can I get a shock from the massage chair?

The chairs are powered by a 12V DC supply, which significantly reduces the risk of electric shocks originating from the chairs themselves. It is highly improbable for the chairs to cause a shock due to their low voltage. However, it is possible that static electricity, generated by friction or other sources, could be responsible for any perceived shocks.

My massage chair does not work when plugged in and turned on.

1. Ensure that the remote control is turned on. Locate the ON switch on your remote control and press it to activate the chair's functions.

2. If you have not selected a massage function yet, press any massage function on the remote control to initiate the massage experience.

3. Check the connections between the chair and the wall outlet to ensure a proper electrical connection. Make sure all cables are securely plugged in.

4. In the event that the chair is not functioning due to a burned-out fuse, replace it with the appropriate fuse. For the MC-1000 model, you can find the fuse by pulling out the panel, and the fuse will be attached to it.

5. Additionally, please note that the customer should have received extra fuses in their original shipment. These fuses are T5AL250V Cartridge Glass Fuses, and they can be used as replacements if needed.

My rollers are stuck, they are no longer moving.

To reset the rollers, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the power cable from the chair for safety.

2. Use a #4 Phillips screwdriver to remove the back panel of the chair. This will provide access to the encoder wheel.

3. Locate the encoder wheel and turn it back about 4-5 clicks. This action should help reset the rollers.

4. If the issue persists, repeat the process by turning the encoder wheel back again.

Beeping noises inside the chair during massage sessions.

The sounds you are hearing are likely attributed to the operation of the air pump, mechanical components, and motor, which are all integral parts of the chair. It's important to note that these sounds are completely normal and expected during regular operation.

The sound I was hearing inside the chair is much louder now.

If you have been using the chair continuously for an extended period, it is possible that the internal components may have experienced some wear. To address this, please power down the chair and allow it to rest for a minimum of 30 minutes. Afterward, check if you still notice the sound.

It's important to note that gradual wear and tear on internal parts can be expected with consistent use over time. If the issue persists or if you have concerns about the chair's performance, we recommend contacting an authorized maintenance professional for further assistance and potential repairs. Why is there a difference in left/right rollers.  One is sometimes higher than the other.

It is normal for the massage rollers to not always run symmetrically. Variations in roller movement and alignment are expected and do not indicate a malfunction.

My massage chair unexpectedly stopped during a session.

If the chair is not functioning, it's possible that it has lost electricity. Please check the power cord to ensure it is securely connected to both the chair and the power outlet.

Additionally, if you have been using the chair continuously for an extended period, it is recommended to allow the chair to rest for at least 30 minutes before attempting to restart it. This will give the chair's internal components a chance to cool down and reset.

By ensuring a secure power connection and allowing the chair to rest, you can troubleshoot common issues and potentially resolve any temporary malfunctions.

I cannot move the backrest or legrest as intended.

1. Check the surrounding area for clearance. Remove any obstacles that may be hindering the chair's movement. Ensure that there is sufficient space for the chair to move freely without any obstructions.

2. The chair may have automatically stopped due to a safety mechanism or overload protection. To address this, turn off the power to the chair and wait for at least 30 minutes before attempting to restart it. This allows the chair to reset and potentially resolve any temporary issues.

I cannot get the chair to return to it's default position.

In this case, we recommend allowing the chair to rest for at least 30 minutes before attempting to reset it.

However, if the chair still does not return to its normal position after the waiting period, it is advisable to contact an authorized maintenance professional for further guidance and assistance. They possess the necessary expertise to diagnose and address any underlying issues that may be affecting the chair's functionality, ensuring it operates as intended.

The electric wires and/or plugs are really hot.

1. If you have been using the chair continuously for an extended period and notice any irregularities, it is advisable to turn off all power to the chair. Allow the chair to rest and cool down for at least 30 minutes. This will help dissipate any accumulated heat and give the internal components a chance to reset. After the resting period, you can attempt to use the chair again and check if the issue persists.

The wire for the MC-1000 remote control is damaged.
